Crystals are amazing conduits for channelling positive vibrational energy. By learning about crystal energy and vibration you have one of the best healing tools for eliminating negative energy and replenishing it with positive vibrations. By using crystal therapy to heal and balance your chakras, you are also improving your mental clarity and overall wellbeing.
Understanding the Healing Power of Crystals
Healing crystals have certainly seen a notable increase in interest and use. The most prominent surge in public interest in recent years has undoubtedly been since the outbreak of the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic in late 2019. Since that time there has been a rise in the number of people seeking truth, knowledge, and other alternatives, natural, and traditional methods to heal and attune the human mind and physical body.
Using crystals for healing, health, and positivity is nothing new. Healing crystals have been used by people across the world for thousands of years for various health benefits, maintenance of vibrational energy, and magical and spiritual powers.
What Are Our Chakras
There are seven main chakras in the human body. These chakras are invisible to the eye and are a piece of our subtle anatomy whereby they exist on an energetic vibrational level and can be tuned into and felt by someone who is attuned and intuitive.
Our chakra system functions by absorbing energy in the form of experiences from our surrounding environment, processing it, and then releasing it back out. Each chakra vibrates at its own frequency or spectrum of potential learning, representing our overall learned lessons.
For example, we use our root chakra to process information about matters such as survival and reason for being on the planet, as well as how well we are supported in life, our stability, and our heritage. If someone is in the midst of migrating, if they are currently homeless, or if their basic needs are not being addressed in some way, their root chakra will be affected.
We learn about compassion, forgiveness, kindness, loving, and how we are connected to others through the heart chakra. If someone is going through a relationship breakup, trying to mend a rift with someone, or attempting to shift from a more selfish to a more open-hearted outlook, the heart chakra will be impacted energetically.
How Crystals Work with the Body's Energy
We are not miraculously healing someone or absolving them of responsibility in learning their lessons when we work with crystals on their chakra system or inside their energetic auric field. There is no magical fix or antidote at work here. Instead, we are assisting them in moving through these courses a little more quickly and gracefully. A crystal placed on the root chakra can help someone feel more supported and secure, while a crystal placed on the heart chakra can help them remove old emotional energetic blocks that have kept them from being more loving with themselves and being open with others.
Choosing the Right Crystals for Each Chakra
Each chakra is represented by a different colour: red for the root chakra, orange for the sacral chakra, yellow for the solar plexus chakra, and so on until the crown chakra is represented by violet. The perfect vibration of each chakra is represented by these colours. Because it vibrates at a slower rate than the crown chakra, which is violet and vibrates at a much more rapid frequency, the root chakra is red overall.
As a result, each of our chakras has its distinct frequency. This means that if our chakras require assistance, a crystal with an equal healing vibration can nourish or restore equilibrium to them. For example, if a chakra needs energising, a crystal such as Clear Quartz or Citrine (both of which have excellent energising properties) could be beneficial. If the chakra needs to be unblocked, a piece of Snowy Quartz (great clearing energy) can be advantageous.
How Crystals Work With The Body
Physical problems are not treated with crystals on a like-for-like basis. For example, there is no crystal for "healing my sore thumb." In the West, contemporary medical science is symptomatic. Crystal therapists, on the other hand, attend to the spiritual and energetic source of why the ailment had to arise in the first place, rather than purely on the physical symptoms.
By addressing the source of the problem in the energy field, the entire energy system is brought into greater balance, which may result in a comparable balance within the physical body. It is often because we are out of tune and harmony at more indirect energetic levels (such as in our emotional or mental subtle bodies) that this results in tension and disorder at a denser and more physical level.
Unleashing the Potential: Channeling Chakra Energy with Crystals
You may find nicely arranged chakra sets available in various stores which contain a group of crystals with a different crystal chosen for each chakra. This makes logical sense, and convenience, in theory. Each crystal can have a vibration that is appropriate for the chakra it is paired with within the set, which is linked to its natural colour.
However, there is a problem with this one-energy-fits-all approach: we are all energetically unique. How can you know which energy a chakra requires without first tuning into it? Each of us changes from day to day, thus a crystal that is appropriate for my heart chakra one day may be too much or insufficient the next, given the changes in my circumstances or environment.
For example, Rose Quartz may be suitable for use on my heart chakra today, assisting me in opening up and achieving more balance on that level. However, I may find buried childhood trauma emerging tomorrow, necessitating the use of a crystal that can address wounds on a deeper or spiritual level. This could be a crystal such as Morganite, another pink crystal that can work at a more intense level.
If I am feeling vulnerable or have recently been unwell, Rose Quartz may be too much for my heart chakra, meaning I will need something softer, like Mangano Calcite, which is a much softer baby-pink crystal with a very gentle and soothing energy. Perhaps a green crystal with more balancing energy, such as Aventurine or Prehnite, is what I need instead of a pink one. Or maybe I don't need a common heart colour at all, but rather energy like Amber, which is very relaxing, or Turquoise, which is strengthening and protective and can help with deeper difficulties.
As a result, there can be a one-size-fits-all approach to any chakra, which is why chakra sets may be energetically counter-productive for some people.
When a crystal healer tunes in to energetic vibration, the most crucial thing is that they determine energetically what a chakra, or another area of the subtle body, needs and then select a crystal with the appropriate vibration. Therefore, if working with crystals it is so important to have accredited and certified training from a reputable institution.
Chakras and Vibration
If the improper frequency is placed on a chakra, it can potentially harm someone energetically. Crystals of a medium to high vibration, for example, are required for the higher chakras. If a crystal with a lower vibration is placed on the third eye or crown chakra, it may cause a headache or dizziness. Similarly, if you place an excessively high-vibration crystal on a lower chakra, you can unground it and space out a person.
Because some chakras are more sensitive than others, the heart chakra and third eye, for example, require more focus and extra special attention. Many Internet websites and books suggest crystals for the heart chakra simply because they are green (a traditional heart colour) and thus assumed to be beneficial. However, they could be completely improper and cause unwanted effects on someone on an energetic level.
Malachite, for example, is far too dense for the heart, despite its green colour. Amazonite is another green crystal with an energy density that is a little too high. Rhodonite is another pink and black heart-shaped crystal, however, it has a grounding vibration and is far too dense to be placed right on the heart chakra.
Choosing the right crystals for a person is also influenced by their energetic makeup and spiritual development. Higher vibration or deeper crystals will likely benefit someone who is on a conscious road of self-development and discovery and working as a healer, whereas someone who has never undergone any prior healing work may benefit from something plain and conventional in energy.
If the crystals utilised have a high or profound vibration, this would be improper since it would force in too much light, maybe giving them consciousness or insights before they are ready or able to comprehend them.
Getting the Best From Crystals With Chakra Work
In the end, simply placing crystals on the chakras alone isn't enough to make them powerful. Even if a crystal has an inappropriate frequency for a chakra, it will cause little harm to most people. The healer's ability to channel greater energy into the crystals is the missing ingredient. It is this energy that amplifies the power. From there the healer takes the crystal's size and shape and focuses this energy into the human energy field based on vibrational frequencies.
The ability to channel energy is linked to one's self-development. Try and think of it being like a cosmic fail-safe. We can only go so far with the healing crystals unless we have mastered and healed ourselves as well.
Positive vibrational energy may be channelled through crystals in incredible ways. You have one of the best healing tools for eliminating negative energy and replacing it with positive vibrations if you learn about crystal energy and vibration. You open the possibilities to improve your mental clarity and overall wellbeing by using crystal therapy to heal and balance your chakras, over and above what you ever thought possible.
