  • warmth, heaviness, tingling, or gentle waves through the nervous system

  • breathing becoming deeper, the jaw unclenching

  • a calmer baseline afterwards, even if pain remains

  • emotional release, because pain carries stress and grief with it.

 

Important: sometimes, when a body has been bracing for a long time, relaxation can feel unfamiliar or even unsettling. If you feel tired afterwards, that is normal. Your system is finally letting go of effort.

My approach is grounded and respectful.

I practise a Tibetan Reiki lineage that is calm and steady. Sessions are hands-free the majority of the time, with optional very gentle contact on the head or feet for grounding if you are comfortable.

​

I am not here to override your pain or talk you out of it. I am here to support your nervous system and help your body access rest.

 

Pain management is often about building capacity and calm over time, not chasing a miracle moment.
