Reiki HEALING for Men in Bundaberg
A lot of men carry more than they say.

Sometimes it is pressure at work, financial stress, or family responsibility. Sometimes it is grief, depression, relationship breakdown, anger that is sitting under the surface, or that constant feeling of needing to stay in control.

And sometimes it is simpler than that: you are just exhausted, you cannot switch off, and your body feels like it has forgotten how to relax.

Reiki is not about making you “spiritual” or getting you to talk about feelings or chakras for an hour. It is a practical, body-based way to help your system settle and reset, especially when you have been running on stress and adrenaline for far too long.

What Reiki can support for men
Men book Reiki for all sorts of reasons, but the common themes are:

-
stress and pressure, feeling constantly “on”
-
sleep issues, racing mind at night, waking unrefreshed
-
burnout and emotional exhaustion
-
grief and loss, including grief that has never really moved
-
anxiety, overthinking, irritability, or emotional shutdown
-
feeling disconnected from yourself, flat, numb, or heavy
-
recovery after difficult periods: separation, injury, job stress, health scares.
Reiki can also be helpful if you are doing counselling, therapy or personal growth work already, and you want something that supports your nervous system at the body level.

What to expect in a REIKI session
A Reiki session is simple.

You lie down fully clothed, and your job is to rest. There is no performance. No pressure to have some dramatic experience. No requirement to talk the whole time, or even to talk at all.

Many men describe Reiki as:

-
a physical sense of calm, like the body unclenching
-
the mind slowing down, even if it is only for a while
-
warmth, heaviness, tingling, or a gentle “reset” feeling
-
better sleep that night, or a steadier baseline over the next few days
-
feeling more grounded, less reactive, and less internally noisy.
Some men feel very little during the session and still notice changes afterwards, especially around sleep and stress levels. Both are normal.

my approach to reiki FOR MEN
My approach is grounded and straightforward.

I practise a Tibetan Reiki lineage that is calm, respectful, and steady. Sessions are hands-free the majority of the time, with optional very gentle contact on the head or feet for grounding if you are comfortable with that.

I will not use exaggerated language or make big promises. Reiki is not a magic trick. It is supportive work that helps your system downshift, recover, and rebuild capacity over time.

If you are sceptical, that is fine. You do not have to believe in anything. The session will either be useful for you, or it will not, and we can be honest about that.
In-person Reiki in Bundaberg
Sessions are available in Bundaberg by appointment.

If you are unsure whether Reiki is “for you”, that is common, especially for men who have never done anything like this before. You are welcome to message me with any questions, and I will answer directly.

Distance Reiki option

If you live outside Bundaberg, travel is inconvenient, or you would rather do this privately at home, distance Reiki is also available.
Many men prefer distance sessions because:

-
it fits around work and family
-
there is no travel time or social energy required
-
you can relax straight afterwards.
Practical support that pairs well with Reiki

I am a big believer in basics.

Reiki tends to work best when it is combined with simple, real-world support like:

-
better sleep habits where possible
-
walking, gentle training, time outside
-
reducing overload, even temporarily
-
counselling, GP support, or a check-in when needed.
Reiki can be the piece that helps you feel calm enough to actually follow through on the basics again.

What Reiki is, and what it is not

Reiki is supportive care. It can complement counselling, psychology, medication, and medical treatment, but it does not replace professional healthcare.

If you are feeling unsafe, having severe anxiety or depression symptoms, or if you are in crisis, please seek urgent professional support.

FAQs

Do I have to talk about personal stuff?
No. You can talk as much or as little as you want. Some men say a few sentences, some say nothing, and both approaches work fine.

Will you touch me?
Sessions are hands-free the majority of the time. If gentle grounding contact is used (head or feet), it is optional and only with your consent.

How many sessions do men usually book?
Most people know after 1 to 3 sessions whether Reiki helps. Some book occasionally for maintenance, others book more regularly during high-stress periods.

Is it normal to feel emotional afterwards?
Yes. Sometimes stress has been held down for a long time, and when the system relaxes, it can surface. Most men simply feel calmer and sleep better, but emotional release can happen, too.
